| Hana, on the southeast shore of Maui, is one of the most exquisite places I know. A friend asked me to take a drive out there with him one day. At the time I was extremely busy preparing for an art show, and I didn't feel I could afford a day off. He insisted, and I relented. I ended up having such an inspiring day in Hana that as soon as I got home this painting just poured out of me! |
