Java sparrows perch side by side on the banana leaves, waiting for me to feed them. Every morning they greet me with fluttering wings and happy chirps, “Good morning! Good morning!” I delight in filling the bird feeder with wild bird seed.

This painting was a commission from a swimwear company in Austrailia called Tigerlily. It was made into a bikini for their Summer 2012 collection.
