| These heavenly flowers grow on the southwest side of Maui on trellises near the sea. One day I went to sketch them and sat under a sky flower trellis as I sipped banana-coconut juice. I gazed up at the white flowers and blossoms gently swaying in the sky. I imagined what it would be like to see them at dawn. The flowers would be lit up by the golden light as they welcome a new day. |
